The Start of the Spaulding High School Gay-Straight Alliance Club.
So I decided that it was time that this club gets going, because our school has too much sterotypical bullying. But then again there are different kinds of bullying everywhere. Especially here. So I was hoping that maybe restarting this group might make our school a better place for the generations to come. I'm speaking from the fact that so many people in our school don't get along very well. I've been bullied, and have bullied others in the past. I regret doing so...

February 9th's Meeting
In today's meeting, we discussed the plans for the Friday assembly, and how we are going to present it. Lauren and I are creating our script for the assembly. Will and Mesler are creating a larger poster for the school and making them easier to notice. We're hoping that this'll gain the attention many students. Also in April we will be having the National Day of Silence. It's where students take a vow, and even some teachers, not to talk for most of the school day. It sounds like fun, or way to get out of doing work that day to some students. But to others, it's the respect of seeing how gay people feel when their bullied and mistreated completely on a daily basis.
So let's hope for the best.
